Road Infrastructure Improvements Continue: Ironbark Road Undergoes Road Sealing Works

Council’s commitment to improving road infrastructure throughout the municipality remains steadfast as another significant project reaches completion.

This week, road sealing works on Ironbark Road in Ararat were successfully completed, marking a pivotal achievement in the ongoing efforts to improve the region's transportation network.

This crucial initiative, part of Council's comprehensive capital works program, specifically targets the upgrade of urban gravel roads. Ironbark Road's transformation from a gravel surface to a sealed road is part of Council’s dedication to modernising and enhancing local roads for the benefit of the community.

"Improving our road infrastructure is crucial for enhancing the safety and convenience of our community," states Ararat Rural City Council CEO, Dr Tim Harrison. "The completion of urban road sealing works on Ironbark Road marks another key milestone in our commitment to upgrading our roads.”

Council remains committed to delivering essential infrastructure upgrades through its capital works program, to meet the evolving needs of the community.
