Ararat Rural City residents are encouraged to give their favourite businesses a thumbs up, by voting in the People’s Choice Awards.
The People’s Choice Award 2023 is now open, and is the only major awards category of the East Grampians Business Awards in which the winner is decided by online votes from residents.
Commenting on the East Grampians Business Awards, Council CEO Dr Tim Harrison said the annual awards are a highlight of the local business calendar and recognise businesses within Ararat Rural City.
“The People’s Choice Awards offers the community to get behind our business community by voting online for their top three businesses” Dr Harrison said.
“The honourable award also gives the winner an opportunity to expand their horizons by generating exposure for their business through an in-kind advertising prize."
“We recognise the People’s Choice Award's potential to create more connections between businesses, local employment and the overall prosperity of our community The People’s Choice Award is run by Ararat Rural City Council in partnership with Ace Radio.
People can vote for any business, small or large, rural or CBD-based, operating within Ararat Rural City. Voting closes 1 October 2023. To vote, visit www.ararat.vic.gov.au
