Closure of Ararat Outdoor Pool for the Season

As the cooler weather settles in, the Ararat Outdoor Pool bids farewell to another season. Effective immediately, the Ararat Outdoor Pool will be closed for the season, with plans to reopen when the warmth of summer returns.

Throughout the summer, the Ararat Outdoor Pool has been a hub of community activity, providing families and individuals with a refreshing escape from the heat and a place to create cherished memories. From swimming lessons to casual dips, the pool has been a source of joy and relaxation for all who visited.

Dr. Tim Harrison, CEO of Ararat Rural City Council, expressed gratitude for the community's support and emphasised the importance of the pool as a recreational asset. "The Ararat Outdoor Pool has been a vital part of our community, offering a safe and enjoyable space for residents to stay active and connected during the summer months," said Dr. Harrison. "We thank everyone for their patronage and look forward to reopening the pool next season."

As we transition into the cooler months, the safety and comfort of our patrons are our top priorities. While we close our gates for now, our team will be hard at work behind the scenes, preparing the facility for the next season. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and enjoyment for all our visitors.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Ararat community for their continued support throughout the season. Your enthusiasm and patronage have made this summer unforgettable.

During the off-season, we encourage community members to stay active and engaged through the Ararat Fitness Centre Indoor Pool and fitness classes. You can find out more information about what the Ararat Fitness Centre has on offer by visiting - www.ararat.vic.gov.au/services/ararat-fitness-centre or via their Facebook page - www.facebook.com/AraratFitnessCentreOfficial

Thank you for a wonderful season. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Ararat Outdoor Pool when the sun shines again.
