Celebrate International Women’s Day 2024: Inspire Inclusion

Join us for International Women's Day 2024, as we gather to celebrate the theme of "Inspire Inclusion." On Friday, March 8th, from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon, at the Ararat RSL. Deputy Mayor Councillor Jo Armstrong - Ararat Rural City Council will host a free morning tea featuring three inspiring presenters who exemplify empowerment, progression, entrepreneurship and inclusivity across our region.

Carly Flecknoe, entrepreneur and creator of the Pomonal Bath House, brings her passion for business and Pomonal to life. Her journey of business creator, owner, operator, marketing specialist, event director and to top it off a busy Mum of 3 young children is an extensive one showing drive and dedication to your goals does pay off.

Ellie McDougall, the dedicated principal at Ararat College, embodies the values of education, equality, and empowerment. Her leadership fosters a culture of inclusivity and opportunity, empowering students to reach their full potential regardless of gender or background.

Tali Kaur, the esteemed Manager of Ararat Neighbourhood House, tirelessly advocates for social justice and community cohesion. Through her efforts, she champions the voices of women, ensuring they have access to resources and support networks.

This gathering promises to be a morning of inspiration and connection. We invite everyone to attend and be part of this empowering event. Please RSVP by Wednesday, February 28th, via the Eventbrite link provided or by scanning the QR code on the flyer.

Let us come together to celebrate the achievements of women, inspire inclusion, and pave the way for a more equitable and empowered future. See you there!
