Ararat Rural City Council is thrilled to announce the commencement of Ararat All Girls Auskick and Superkick programs starting on April 17th, 2024. Auskick will take place every Wednesday for 8 weeks and Superkick will run until 12th May 2024 at the Gordon Street Recreation Reserve, providing an exciting opportunity for girls aged 5 and above to get involved in Australian Rules Football.
Auskick is designed for girls aged 5 and above, while Superkick is tailored for girls aged 8 to 12 years. These programs aim to foster a love for the sport, promote teamwork, and develop fundamental skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Dr. Tim Harrison, CEO of Ararat Rural City Council, expressed his enthusiasm for the launch of the girls' Auskick and Superkick programs, stating: "We are delighted to introduce these programs to our community, providing girls with the chance to participate in Australian Rules Football and develop valuable skills both on and off the field.
