Buangor Primary School

Buangor primary school is a rural school situated between Beaufort and Ararat just off the Western Highway. The school grounds are extensive, leading to native bush land with a backdrop of Mount Cole and Mount Buangor. We have strong connections with the community, sharing the responsibility for the education and well being of our students. We provide a well balanced curriculum, with a strong focus on Literacy and Numeracy. Our programs are rounded out with comprehensive Science, Health & PE, the Arts, Digital Technologies and Cultural Studies programs. The MARC (mobile area resource centre) van visits once a fortnight, where the children borrow books and participate in lessons on History, Geography and Civics and Citizenship. We are a Stephanie Alexander Garden school and instil resilience and mindfulness into our lessons.
