Warm Winter Read challenge returns to Ararat Library

As the temperature drops, stay warm with a great book and incorporate reading into your daily routine with the Warm Winter Read.

Launching in June, the reading challenge helps to create healthy reading habits by tracking a reader’s progress online to be in the running to win bookish prizes. Start a book from your 'to be read' pile, finish that book you put down months ago, or find something new while browsing the Library shelves.

Commenting on the ‘Warm Winter Read’ Ararat Library Team Leader Ashlee McKinnis said, “Don’t forget to sign-up in the Beanstack app to track your reading efforts or come see your friendly local librarian for assistance – you may even leave with your very first Warm Winter Read.”

“If you need some inspiration, there are seven Victorian authors on our Warm Winter Read bookmarks including Sally Hepworth, Tony Birch, JP Pomare, Jennifer Down, Jacinta Parsons, Chris Flynn, R.W.R McDonald.”

The ‘Warm Winter Read’ challenge is designed for adult readers. Log each day you spend time reading, between Wednesday 1 June to Sunday 31 July, on the Beanstack Tracker app, via the Public Libraries Victoria page on the Beanstack website.
