Map Your Business’s Transition to Renewable Energy at the Business Renewables Buying Group Webinar

Businesses across Victoria are coming together to increase their purchasing power of renewable electricity, courtesy of the newly launched Business Renewables Buying Group (BRBG).

The group is designed to help businesses seeking to switch to 100% renewable electricity. With the support of a facilitator, the group will work collectively to scale up their buying power whilst cutting complexity, time, and the costs associated with going totally renewable. 

The program also provides education to support businesses in understanding Victorian energy markets, what to expect when going to market for renewable energy, the benefits of group buying, and long-term deals.

The BRBG is open to all businesses across Victoria but is best suited to those consuming over 500mWh per annum of electricity (spending ~$100,000 per annum) with energy contracts expiring in 2025 or 2026 and wanting to switch to 100% renewable electricity. 

Businesses interested in mapping their transition to renewable electricity are invited to attend a free webinar next week, held on Tuesday 25 March from 11am – 12pm and hosted by the initiative’s partners: the Central Victorian Greenhouse Alliance, the Victorian Greenhouse Alliances and City of Yarra. The session will provide an introduction to the program and how it will operate.
