- The Promoter is Ararat Rural City Council (ABN - 92 492 188 087) of 59 Vincent Street, Ararat.
- The Promotional Period commences on Monday 31st March at 8:00am (AEDT) and concludes on Tuesday 29th April at 4:00pm (AEST). Entries must be received by the Promoter by the competition close date and time.
- Council officers will contact the parent/guardian of the prize winners by telephone on Tuesday 29th April 2025 to arrange for collection of the prizes.
- The promoter is not responsible for entries that are not received or are received late.
- All entries will be the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the entrants.
- Entries will be judged by Ararat Rural City Council on Wednesday 23rd April 2025. The judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into concerning granting of prizes. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. Judging will be on the merit of the entry.
- Council is collecting this personal information for the purpose of administering the promotion. The information will be used for administration & geographic promotional purposes and will not be disclosed to any other party except as required by law.
- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, as well as any other implied warranties or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia.
- Entry is only open to residents within the Ararat Rural City Council municipality.
- Entrants must be between 1 - 12 years old. Entrants must be 12 years or younger at the close of the competition.
- The colouring competition is split into two (2) age categories
a. 1-6 years of age
b. 7-12 years of age - Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter including but not limited to Ararat Rural City Council staff and contractors are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, DeFacto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister or first cousin.
- Entrants must complete the form and all the relevant details on the rear of the page.
- Entrants may only submit one entry (one per child aged 1 – 12 years of age) and will automatically be allocated to the relevant age group.
- Completed forms are to be returned to Ararat Rural City Council Municipal Offices (59 Vincent Street, Ararat) or emailed to [email protected] by 4:00pm Tuesday 29th April 2025 (AEST)

- There will be one prize winner for each age group 1-6yrs and 7-12yrs, who will each receive an Easter hamper as the prize.
- The prizes are not transferrable and cannot be taken as cash
- The prize winners names will be published on the Ararat Rural City Council website and social media pages.
- Any unclaimed prizes remain the property of Ararat Rural City Council.
- Ararat Rural City Council will take no responsibility for prizes which may be damaged, delayed or lost in transit, or for late, lost or misdirected entries.
